Non-Chemical Applications

We understand that pesticides are not always the best means of intervention to control pests. As a result, Clark routinely employs several different non-chemical treatments.

Some of our benefits:

• Vacuuming: physical removal of pests is often the best and most efficient way to reduce the pest population.



• Heat: We employ both volumetric heat and the directed application of hot vapors. Volumetric heat is used to heat an entire space or structure raising the temperature of the treated area to a lethal level. It can penetrate and treat all of the connected areas. Direct applications of hot vapors are delivered via a hand held device. This dry steam is used to raise the temperature of an immediate area (spot treatment) to a lethal level.



• Exclusion: Exclusion is a key part of IPM. Through the inspection process, entry-points are located and corrected, preventing pests accessing the facility and goods within.



• Removal & Repair: Removing objects that are infested and repairing the damage will quickly stop the infestation and prevent future incidents
